This new offerings is centered around the 70’ Common Standard Design. Originally built by a combination of the Pullman Car Company and the Southern Pacific Sacramento Car Shops in the 1920s, these baggages and mail cars were widely used in California in the 1920s and beyond, being on the head end of nearly every Southern Pacific passenger train for decades, some painted in specilaty schemes, all throughout their network from California all the way to New Orleanes.
They eventually became lumped into the description of common standard cars of the early 1900s as "Harrimans". The term "Harriman" refers to railroad equipment built in the 1900's and 1910's to a set of common standards that were used when E. H. Harriman controlled both the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific railroads. But for now we will call them by their classes.

These injection molded plastic passenger cars will have all the trappings of a precision made, brass scale model, but in a lightweight (NMRA Standard) and affordable plastic body with the great running characteristics you expect from GGD.
There will be some "fantasy" schemes offered as well, including Union Pacific, Western Pacific, Illinois Central, Rock Island. These will be announced over the next few weeks once finalized.
